Enter the name of an Exchange 5.5 server, an Exchange 2000/2003 domain controller, or click Auto-Discover... to query for directory information. Notes: For Exchange 2000, enter the domain controller on which Forest Prep was run for best results. In a multi-site Exchange organization, it is very important that the server specified receives up-to-date directory replication information for all the sites. For Exchange 5.5, Ecora collects three levels of information regardless of selecting one server or many:
Exchange Organization - this information is on every Exchange server in the organization and provides global settings. This information is collected from only one server.
Site - this information is on every Exchange server in a site. All Exchange servers in a site contain the same site information; however Exchange servers in different sites contain different information. Since all this information is replicated, Ecora collects this information from only one server.
Server - Since this information is unique on each server, Ecora collects this information from each selected server.
Indicate whether or not you would like to gather Recipients, Detailed Mailbox Information, Public Folder Information, and/or File Attribute Information (database size, etc.). Notes: Collecting and reporting this additional information takes significantly longer. All attributes pertaining to Detailed Mailbox Information are identified in two locations in the Exchange display model: For 5.5 - sites\Recipient Containers\Mailbox\Additional Mailbox information For 2000/2003 - Users and Groups\Users\Additional Mailbox information The attributes are:
Deleted message count
Deleted messages (KB)
Full mailbox directory name
Last logon on user
Last logoff time
Last logon time
Mailbox display name
Mailbox size (KB)
Storage limit status
Total associated items
Total items
If you do not wish to use the default logon, select a profile using the ... button then the drop-down list.
Click OK.
Use the plus signs to expand the group tree to locate servers.
Click in any checkbox to select that server (or group). Tip: The tree selection "cascades" - so selecting a group selects all servers in that group unless you expand the group to unselect servers.
