Auditor Help: Auto-Importing

Where there are multiple installations of Auditor across an enterprise, it is possible to combine the data from all the databases into one central database. Auto-importing creates a scheduled task to write repo files from remote installations into one database.

To import remote repos:

  1. Click on the Scheduled Tasks tab in the left pane of the main interface.
  2. Click New Task... (or select an existing task from the list and click Edit...).

  3. In the New Task dialog box, select the Auto Import and click OK.
  4. Enter a name for the task.
  5. Select a module from the drop-down list.

  6. Specify the location of the repo files you wish to import.
  7. Click in the checkbox to Delete repo files after import if you wish to remove the files once they've been saved to the database.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Define the schedule through Windows Task Scheduler.

Note Note: The Import CSV... button in the System Selection dialog (during collection) allows you to make the systems specified in a CSV file available during collection.
