Auditor Help: Filtering DB2 objects

  1. In the Select DB2 Instances dialog box, select a database where you want to use filtering ability and click Filters... button.

  3. Select any desirable object type and press Change button.

  5. There you can specify your filtering criteria on object name, schema, tablespace or comment, just as in DB2 Control Center. Click Clear button if you want to get back to the empty form.
  6. You can also open Advanced tab to specify your criteria manually, as a WHERE clause of SQL query.

    You are able to get back to the previous tab anytime by pressing the Reset button and choosing the Locate tab, as it gets blocked upon any change that was performed on the Advanced tab.
    Helpful Hint You can immediately examine filtering results on the Preview tab.

  8. When all your criteria are set, press OK button to return back to the object types. Specified conditions should be displayed in the respective field, as it's shown below:

  10. Click the OK button to preserve specified filtering criteria and return back to the Select DB2 Instances dialog box.
  11. Proceed with selecting for a DB2 report.
