Auditor Help: System Filtering

Click on the type of filtering you wish to use in the left-hand pane. Each type is cumulative; your view is limited to only those systems meeting every filter you have turned on (activated by the checkbox on each screen and indicated by the checkmark in the left pane).
 Note: Disabling a filter does not clear you criteria; you can return to that filter until you use the Clear All button.

Click on Computer Name to filter by system name with a boolean search (operators include Contains, Does Not Contain, Starts With, Ends With, Equals, Does Not Equal). Enter the string you wish to match in the text field once you've chosen an operator.

Click on Computer Role to filter by systems by their purpose as domain controller, server, or workstation.

Click on Domain to filter by systems by the domain in which they reside (the drop-down is populated by discovered domain names).

Click on IP Address to filter by systems by their IP Address or subnet. Enter the lowest IP Address you wish to display (Start IP) and the highest IP Address you wish to display (End IP).

Click on User Name to filter by user account with a boolean search (operators include Contains, Does Not Contain, Starts With, Ends With, Equals, Does Not Equal). Enter the string you wish to match in the text field once you've chosen an operator.

Click Help to access this online help system page explaining the Filter dialog box.

Click Clear All to reset all the filters back to empty / default criteria.

Click Apply to see the results of the active filter(s) in the System Management dialog box.

Click OK to close the filter dialog box and see the results ofthe active filter(s) in the System Management dialog box.

Click Cancel to close the filter dialog box without applying or saving any change made in this session.
