Auditor Help: Using a Configuration Database

Auditor Professional has the ability to write configuration data directly into a database. An MSDE or MS-SQL database can be selected (or created) as the data source for the Ecora configuration repository.

Recording the configuration settings to a relational database has several advantages:

• Data from several modules can be queried (cross-platform reports)
• Data can be exported into other databases or applications
• Custom queries can be created through Ecora's GUI
• Data can be archived by age for space optimization
