This documentation report provides detailed configuration settings
for global settings, recipient and system policies, administrative
and routing groups, servers, storage groups, protocols, and
connectors including Active Directory connectors. The report layout
is similar to what is displayed using the System Manager.
Exchange 5.5 Full Documentation Report –
This documentation report provides detailed configuration settings
for sites, protocols, monitors, connectors and servers. The report
layout is similar to what is displayed using the Exchange 5.5
Administrator.
Circular Logging Settings –
Database circular settings are used for disaster recovery. If
circular logging is enabled, database transactions are overwritten
and a restore is not possible.
Data collections (in database) –
Shows the date and time for all data collections in the database. Can
be used for database archiving criteria.
Mailbox Permissions –
Shows who has access to mailboxes and what permissions they have.
Permissions – Servers –
Shows who has administrative rights to the Exchange environment
Permissions – Servers – HIPAA –
Shows who has administrative rights to the Exchange environment
Installed Hotfixes By Server –
Assists in vulnerability assessments and risk management by showing
installed and required (but not installed) hotfixes for Exchange
Installed Hotfixes By Hotfix –
Assists in vulnerability assessments and risk management by showing
installed and required (but not installed) hotfixes for Exchange
Custom Recipients –
Identify creation and last modified dates for all Custom Recipients.
Message Queue Information –
This report would be used to monitor all message queues to make sure mail is being delivered.
The goal is to have all message queues be zero (meaning there is no backlog of messages waiting
to be delivered).
