Ecora Growth and Additions to Senior Management Continue

Technology Veteran John Walsh Joins Ecora as Vice President of Engineering

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – November 9, 2006 – Ecora Software, the industry's only solution for automating regulatory compliance and best practices reporting for IT Systems Management, today announced the appointment of John J. Walsh as vice president of engineering. A 20-year technology veteran, Walsh will assume responsibility for all product engineering, launch new product solution initiatives and lead the Ecora engineering team as they continue to enhance the company's award-winning, Auditor solution.

“Given his deep engineering and industry experience, we are pleased and fortunate to have John join the Ecora team,” said Joe Fiorentino, CEO, Ecora. “Our continued growth is a direct result of Ecora's ability to attract experienced leaders to our world-class management team. We look forward to John's contributions.”

Prior to joining Ecora, Walsh provided senior vice president and general manager guidance for Saba Software, managing a team of 200 engineers and a budget of $17 million. While at Saba, Walsh transformed internal product controls and procedures to improve product quality and predictability. Most notably, he institutionalized a software development lifecycle model that accelerated the development pace for new offerings by employing a “cross-functional” procedure.

Before joining Saba, John held the position of senior vice president of products at Centra (acquired by Saba in 2006). At Centra, Walsh managed a team of 100 employees with an annual budget of $10 million. He delivered Centra's award-winning offering Centra 7, a software solution that empowers any web browser to conduct Microsoft PowerPointT presentations, demonstrate various software applications as well as conduct and collaborate on whiteboard presentations.

Previously as director of sales operations of Avid Technology, Walsh helped form and launch their sales operations. He also worked to coordinate and streamline activities between sales, finance, product marketing and manufacturing by applying solid engineering practices and processes.

A veteran of several successful start-up ventures, John was also instrumental in the growth and development of InformTV, Avid Sports, Inc., and Recognition Equipment, Inc. John is also armed with extensive experience gained as a software engineer at General Electric.
