Ecora Patch Manager FAQ

Question:  I created an alternate repository but there are no patches in the repository even though I downloaded all my patches. Why am I only seeing patches in the main repository?

Answer:  When using an alternate repository you must copy patches from the main repository to all defined alternate repositories. You can choose to maintain the content of the alternate repositories either manually or through an automated file replication scheme. One example of such a scheme is Microsoft's Ditributed File System, (DFS).
By itself, Patch Manager does not have the capability to synchronize the contents of the main repository and the alternate repositories.
