Nick Garbidakis, CIO, CTO, American Bible Society

Nick Garbidakis is a strategic and results-oriented professional offering a track record of consistent top performance as well as more than 20 years of progressive success. He has led multimillion-dollar projects on a global scale.

Presently, as CIO and CTO for the American Bible Society, Garbidakis is charged with transforming the company into a constituent-centric, least-cost, quality-driven culture through IT deployment, business process reengineering, and organizational restructuring. He is responsible for maintaining corporate-wide technology solutions, including data centers, telecom, ERP systems, disaster recovery, and system architecture.

Garbidakis' international business acumen was honed as project manager and process engineer/manager for Worldwide Process Technologies, where he led more than 30 projects worldwide, managing installations and startups of material processing lines, ranging from $500K to over $10M.

He is a hands-on executive who likes to get things done while at the same time providing the organization with the right strategy for the future.

As part of his past assignments Garbidakis has lived and worked in a number of different countries around the world and he is able to successfully operate in diverse cultures and learn new languages in short period of time.

Areas of expertise include developing and executing technology strategy, running multi-million dollar projects, operational cost reductions, vendor negotiations, web development and e-commerce, ERP systems and integration with CRM systems, Data Center operations, Wide Area networking, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
