Job Description
Ecora Field Sales Engineers spend 95% of their time with customers
and prospects to demo, implement and support Ecora products in their
regions. We are looking for technical people who understand the world
of IT Managers and System administrators and who can work with them
to demonstrate the value and to expand the use of Ecora software in
customer accounts
Successful candidate will have strong background with hands-on
experience in multiple operating environments, especially Microsoft
Windows. Unix/Linux, Citrix, Cisco, Oracle, Domino and Novell
experience is a plus. Prior experience in sales engineering, IT
consulting, IT management, or systems administration would help you
to excel in this position.
Overall Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong and reference-able business relationships
with key customer contacts and decision makers. Build business value
around Ecora's solutions and penetrate existing customer base to
increase revenue opportunities. Assist your inside telesales team
with technical presentations, pilot implementations, training, and
on-site support. Train customers and prospects on products both pre-
and post-sales. Help our customers understand the value of our
products and help them implement the products successfully.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Work with telesales to develop and execute major account plans for current and target accounts
- Travel to customer sites and conduct technical product demo's and business meetings
- Work in front of customer (either by phone or on site) 95% of the time, to help them understand and implement the product
- Interpret customer's technical needs and articulate/demonstrate how Ecora can benefit the customer and address their needs
- Work with product marketing to bring feedback from customer trends, requirements, and overall market conditions
- Marshall technical and management resources appropriately and team with telesales to drive sales cycle and account penetration across the enterprise
- Work along with telesales and Regional Manager to close business.

- Strong technical skills and the ability to engage customers with successful product demo's and implementation.
- Experience building and executing on account and territory plans.
- Individual must possess excellent communication and people skills.
- Expertise and comfort working to uncover business pain and create customer vision.
- Fluently presents Ecora's solutions within the context of customer vision.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum degree of Bachelor of Science or equivalent
- Strong technical skills with Microsoft technologies
- Specialized knowledge in Security, Disaster Recovery, and Change Management is a significant benefit
- Microsoft certification is a significant benefit
- Minimum six (6) years experience in providing network management, security management, and/or configuration management to large organizations
- Project management experience is preferred
- Knowledge of Windows, Citrix, SQL server; MS Exchange, Unix, Linux and Oracle a plus
- Experience as IT consultant, system integrator, sales engineer, IT manager and/or system manager
