Rob McKinney, Vice President of Marketing
Rob McKinney was named Ecora's Vice President of Marketing in August 2007. A
20-year veteran of managing the marketing efforts of multiple high-tech
organizations; McKinney will work closely with Ecora management to implement
marketing programs and communications initiatives to further accelerate
worldwide adoption of Ecora's automated configuration change and compliance
audit reporting solutions. McKinney comes to Ecora after a successful stint
as a strategic marketing advisor and consultant for such companies as Belair
Networks and Ecora by raising brand awareness and highlighting key competitive
differentiators to constituents in the analyst and investor communities.
Prior to his time as a strategic advisor and consultant, McKinney served three years as Vice President of Product Marketing & Management at Centra Software. While at Centra, he built and implemented aggressive market positioning, messaging and branding programs that led to the organization's eventual acquisition by Saba Software. Prior to Centra Software, McKinney was also Vice President of Product Strategy at Genuity, a publicly-held global provider of IP communications solutions, where his strategic marketing leadership grew his segment of the organization to over $200 million in annual revenue.
